Cliff Bell is the Senior Director of Legal Operations at Laurel, where he leads strategic initiatives to optimize firm-wide processes and oversees the paralegal and shared services departments in their pursuit of excellence. With over a decade of experience in the legal industry, Cliff began his career as a client intake manager at a boutique law firm in San Diego before transitioning into litigation as a paralegal supporting numerous attorneys. Cliff holds a B.A. in Political Science with a focus in International Relations from the University of California – Santa Cruz, and earned his Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego.
Cliff’s academic background, paired with his hands-on legal and operational expertise, gives him a unique perspective on the complexities of litigation and legal service delivery. Over the course of his career, Cliff has developed a deep understanding of legal operations, support services, and client care. Cliff is known for designing and implementing systems that prioritize accuracy, accountability, and client satisfaction—streamlining workflows, reducing errors, and ensuring that each client experience aligns with Laurel’s high standards.
