Bio
When your livelihood, dignity, and future are on the line, you deserve an advocate who will not blink. Julian Samaan is an attorney dedicated to plaintiff-side employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage-and-hour violations.
He stands up to employers of all sizes to vindicate his clients’ rights and pursue the
accountability—and recovery—they are owed.
Every case begins with listening. As such, Julian invests the time to understand the full
story, what happened, how it impacted your life, and what success looks like to you.
From there, he builds a tailored strategy grounded in meticulous fact development, aggressive motion practice, and trial readiness from day one. Opposing counsel respects preparation; juries respond to truth. Julian brings both. Whether negotiating a resolution or trying a case, he is unrelenting in advancing his clients’ interests with clarity, candor, and resolve.
Before joining Laurel Law, he has recovered tens of millions of dollars’ worth of settlements for his clients though hard fought and negotiated settlements. He has also handled discovery and depositions, argued motions, prepared and examined witnesses, and positioned cases for decisive outcomes in court and in settlements.
Julian’s path to the courtroom was shaped by a commitment to fairness and a belief that the law should be accessible to everyone—not just the powerful. He earned his J.D. from Southwestern Law School through its rigorous two‑year, accelerated SCALE program and a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in global politics. That training instilled discipline, speed, and a problem-solving mindset he brings to every case.
Julian is proud to advocate for workers across California. His clients trust him to carry their story—and he takes that trust seriously.
