Bio
Seoyoung Ahn represents employees in a wide range of workplace disputes, with a practice centered on protecting workers’ rights and ensuring fair treatment under California law. She regularly handles matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and violations of state and federal leave laws, including claims brought under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act.
Seoyoung brings experience from both sides of the aisle. Before joining the firm, she advocated for employees at a well-regarded plaintiffs’ employment firm, guiding clients through case intake, discovery, motion practice, and resolution. She also previously practiced in insurance defense, where she developed a clear understanding of how employers and insurers build their cases, knowledge she now uses to anticipate opposing strategies and strengthen her clients’ positions.
Clients value Seoyoung for her steady communication style, practical problem-solving, and determination to secure results that make a tangible difference in their lives. Whether negotiating a settlement or preparing for litigation, she is focused on delivering outcomes that reflect each client’s goals and circumstances.
Seoyoung received her J.D. from Southwestern Law School and her B.A. from University of California, Santa Barbara.
