Recognition like this is earned through years of dedication, relentless advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to clients. We are honored to share that our CEO & Founder, Joshua White, has been recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the 2026 Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Attorneys.
A Well-Earned Distinction
This honor highlights Josh's exceptional leadership, trial advocacy, and lasting impact on California employment law. It reflects not only his skill as a litigator, but the vision he has brought to building Laurel Employment Law into one of the state's leading employee-side firms.
Josh's path to this recognition has been anything but conventional. After graduating near the top of his class at the UCLA School of Law, he practiced complex commercial litigation in Santa Monica before spending over a decade as a corporate executive, including a highly decorated tenure as Head of Strategy and General Counsel for a large multinational company. During that time, he helped grow the business into a nearly $400 million enterprise and was recognized as the Los Angeles Business Journal's Rising Star General Counsel of the Year in 2016.
That business background continues to shape how Josh leads Laurel today, combining sharp litigation strategy with a genuine commitment to building a firm culture where both clients and employees can thrive.
A Growing List of Honors
This recognition adds to a growing list of accolades for Josh, who has also been named one of the Daily Journal's Top Labor & Employment Lawyers of 2026. Together, these honors reflect his ongoing impact on California employment law and his role in shaping a new kind of law firm built around strong values, smart use of technology, and real advocacy for workers.
Congratulations, Josh
We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition and excited for what lies ahead as Josh continues to lead Laurel Employment Law's mission of standing up for employees when it matters most.
