William Goldstone
Attorney
Bio
William Goldstone represents employees, and only employees, in workplace disputes throughout California. He focuses on claims under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as violations of state and federal wage-and-hour, labor, and workplace safety laws.
His clients have spanned the workforce, from seasonal laborers to senior employees at large tech companies. Whatever the title or paycheck, William fights to make sure they are treated fairly and that their rights are respected. In his time before joining Laurel, William represented employees at another respected plaintiffs’ employment firm, where he guided clients through every stage of their case.
William earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. As an undergraduate, he tutored incarcerated men serving sentences of 25 years or more at San Quentin State Prison, an experience that sparked his lifelong commitment to justice.
