Josephine Klein is an Associate Attorney at Laurel Employment Law, where she represents employees in a wide range of workplace disputes. She is committed to helping clients navigate challenging legal issues with thoughtful advocacy, clear communication, and practical guidance tailored to their individual goals.
Prior to joining Laurel Employment Law, Josephine practiced civil litigation, representing businesses and individuals in a variety of legal disputes. Her experience includes business litigation, construction-related matters, contract disputes, and employment-related claims. Throughout her practice, she managed cases through all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, preparing and responding to written discovery, conducting legal research, taking and defending depositions, appearing at hearings, participating in mediations, negotiating settlements, and developing case strategy.
Working closely with business owners throughout her prior practice gave Josephine a well-rounded perspective on the legal and practical considerations that often shape workplace disputes. She draws on that experience to anticipate litigation strategy, effectively advocate for her clients, and provide practical guidance throughout every stage of the legal process. Josephine is known for her responsive communication, attention to detail, and thoughtful approach to resolving complex legal issues.
Josephine earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine Caruso School of Law. During law school, she served as a teaching assistant and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Negotiation Theory and Practice. Her background in dispute resolution complements her litigation practice by emphasizing strategic negotiation, effective advocacy, and practical problem-solving.
Josephine is admitted to practice law in California and is fluent in English and Hebrew.
